Final Project Build a Settings Page UI

Swipe um das Menü anzuzeigen

In this final project, you will combine the main Tailwind and Svelte concepts from the course into a complete responsive settings page interface.

The goal is to practice building reusable UI components, responsive layouts, interactive states, and clean frontend styling patterns inside a realistic application screen.

Project Overview

The settings page can include sections such as:

  • Profile settings;
  • Notification preferences;
  • Theme selection;
  • Security settings;
  • Account actions.

This type of interface is very common in modern frontend applications.

Suggested Project Structure

A clean beginner-friendly structure could look like this:

src/
  components/
    SettingsCard.svelte
    ToggleSwitch.svelte
    SettingsInput.svelte
    SaveButton.svelte
  App.svelte

Each component should focus on one clear UI responsibility.

Building the Main Layout

Start with a responsive page container:

<div
  class="
    min-h-screen
    bg-gray-100
    p-6
  "
>
  <div
    class="
      max-w-3xl
      mx-auto
      space-y-6
    "
  >
    <h1 class="text-3xl font-bold">
      Settings
    </h1>
  </div>
</div>

This creates a centered responsive layout with spacing and background styling.

Creating Reusable Settings Cards

Each settings section can use a reusable card component.

<div
  class="
    bg-white
    rounded-xl
    shadow-md
    p-6
  "
>
  <slot></slot>
</div>

This keeps the interface visually consistent across sections.

Adding Interactive Inputs

Inside the cards, add styled form elements:

<input
  class="
    border
    border-gray-300
    rounded-lg
    p-3
    w-full
    focus:ring-2
    focus:ring-purple-500
    focus:outline-none
  "
  placeholder="Update username"
/>

The interface should feel clean, interactive, and responsive.

Track Wrap-Up

You have now completed the frontend development track with Svelte.

Throughout the track, you learned how modern frontend applications are built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Svelte, and Tailwind CSS. You worked with components, reactive state, forms, API data, responsive layouts, and reusable UI patterns while building real frontend interfaces step by step.

You now have a strong foundation for building modern web applications and continuing deeper into the Svelte ecosystem.
