  • Click to create a text box and start typing without any borders or click and drag to create a confined text box;
  • Don't forget to either select the Text layer or highlight the text to change font, size, color, and style (e.g., bold, italic);
  • Use Character and Paragraph panels for more detailed adjustments (e.g., Leading, kerning, tracking):
    • Leading is the space between lines;
    • Tracking is the space between characters or letters;
    • Kerning is the space between words;
  • You can apply text styles like bold, italic, all caps, small caps, superscript, subscript, underline, and strikethrough in the characters panel, and align text and add indents or bullet points in the paragraph panel;
  • You can use the Warp Text option to create arcs, bulges, and other text distortions;
  • You can also type on a path by creating a shape or path and using the Type Tool to write along or inside the path;
  • Remember, you can always add a layer mask on top of a Text layer.
