Organizing Code with Modules
Sveip for å vise menyen
As your application grows, keeping everything in a single module becomes difficult to manage.
Instead of placing all controllers and services in app.module.ts, you can create separate modules for different features.
For example, create a module for users:
users.module.ts
Add the following code:
import { Module } from '@nestjs/common';
import { UsersController } from './users.controller';
import { UsersService } from './users.service';
@Module({
controllers: [UsersController],
providers: [UsersService],
})
export class UsersModule {}
This module groups everything related to users.
Now connect it to the main module:
import { Module } from '@nestjs/common';
import { UsersModule } from './users.module';
@Module({
imports: [UsersModule],
})
export class AppModule {}
Here is what is happening:
UsersModule: contains user-related logic;imports: connects the module to the application;- The main module stays clean and minimal.
Instead of one large file, your application is now split into smaller, focused parts.
This makes your code easier to navigate and maintain.
