1. IT Concepts:
   • Understanding fundamental IT concepts is crucial for effective communication with technical teams. This includes knowledge of:
     • Basic networking principles;
     • Database structures and management;
     • Hardware components and configurations;
     • Software architectures and components.
2. Software Development Lifecycles:
   • Familiarity with various software development lifecycles helps BAs in understanding how projects progress from initiation to deployment. Key lifecycles include:
     • Waterfall model;
     • Agile methodology;
     • Iterative development.
3. Process Modeling:
   • BAs use process modeling to represent and analyze business processes. Relevant competencies include:
     • Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams;
     • Understanding BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) for standardized process modeling;
     • Identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement in business processes.
4. Data Analysis:
   • BAs often engage in data analysis to inform decision-making and shape project requirements. Competencies in data analysis include:
