Slicers and Filters

Slicers and filters are what turn a static report into an interactive dashboard. This chapter covers the difference between slicers (visible, viewer-controlled) and the Filters pane (hidden, developer-controlled), the four main slicer styles (list, dropdown, between, and relative date), and how to sync slicers across multiple report pages so a single selection updates the entire dashboard.
