No installation is required, just open the page and start chatting.

Free vs Paid Versions: What’s the difference?

• Free version (not signed in)
  • Access Copilot chat directly in your browser
  • Upload documents and generate content (text, images, 3D models)
  • No strict usage limits, but:
    • Slower responses during heavy use
    • Shorter answers compared to paid users
  • No integration with Microsoft 365 apps
• Personal Microsoft 365 account
  • Same core features as free version
  • Additional benefits:
    • Integration with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
    • Access to your files (OneDrive, emails, documents)
    • More advanced AI models and longer conversations
    • Personalized responses over time

Important: your activity may be used to improve AI models, so this version does not fully protect sensitive data.

• Business Microsoft 365 account (Enterprise)
  • Includes everything from the personal version
  • Enterprise data protection (green shield icon):
    • Your data is treated as confidential
    • Not used to train AI models
  • Access to:
    • Even more advanced AI models
    • Additional capabilities (e.g. video generation)
  • Deep integration with your organization’s data (e.g. SharePoint, emails, calendar)

This is the most secure and powerful version of Copilot.
