Before building summaries, make sure your formulas include all data. When new rows are added, older formulas may not update automatically.

Use Copilot to adjust the ranges so all data is included and calculations remain accurate.

Update Formulas

After the update, check that all missing values are resolved and calculated fields work correctly.

Create a Conditional Summary

Now you can build a summary based on specific conditions.

Instead of filtering manually, describe the task to Copilot. For example, calculate total revenue only for a specific sales channel and date range.

Copilot creates the formula, inserts it into a summary cell, and explains how it works

Verify the Result

Check that the summary updates correctly when data changes.

Make sure the conditions are applied as expected and the result matches your dataset.
