Understanding rendering in premiere pro
- Rendering in premiere pro improves preview playback performance;

Selecting the render area
- Use the mark in and mark out tools to define the sequence area to render;
- Adjust these points manually by dragging them on the timeline;
- To remove selection, go to markers and click clean in and out;
- Quickly set in and out by selecting all clips and pressing the dash key.
Rendering previews
- With the selection made, go to sequence and click render in to out;
- Premiere pro will process effects and transitions for smoother previews;
- Once done, the timeline should show a green line indicating optimized playback;
- Now the project is ready for final export.
Setting up export
- Go to file and select export > media;
- Set a clear file name and choose the destination folder;
- Use the format H264 to export an MP4 file;
- Select a preset like high quality 1080p HD or YouTube 1080p full HD.
Adjusting export settings
- Click match source to align resolution and frame rate with sequence settings;
- Enable render at maximum depth and use maximum render quality for best results;
- Adjust bitrate settings to balance file size and quality;
- Use 8-14mbps for a good balance between quality and file size.
Finalizing the export
- Click export and wait for the process to complete;
- Locate the exported file in the chosen folder;
- Review the final output for any issues;
- Enjoy your completed video project.
