Access Control and Real-Time Document Collaboration

Configuring User Permissions

Editor: users with this role can edit the document's content. To assign the editing role, right-click on the document, select Share, enter the user's email address, and set their permissions to Editor.

Viewer: users with this role can only view the document. To set viewer permissions, follow the same steps but select the Viewer role.

Removing Access: to revoke access for a specific user, open the sharing settings via Share, locate the user, and select Remove.

Tracking Real-Time Changes

Editing Indicators: when someone makes changes, you'll see indicators (such as colored cursors) that show active users. This helps all collaborators stay aware of who is editing what in the document at any given moment.
