which simply performs some specified operations after each test.
Sometimes, we would want to execute some code only once, before any tests in that scope are executed. To achieve this, we can enclose the respective code into a beforeAll
block, which follows the same syntax as a beforeEach
block:
beforeAll(() => {
// before any tests are executed
});
Similarly, we can also specify some code to be executed after all the tests in that scope are executed by using a afterAll
block:
afterAll(() => {
// after all the tests have been executed
});
