Now that we have explored our dataset and prepared it for our analysis we are going to plot the time series to see its overall trend.

Methods description

  • plt.figure(figsize= (width, height)): This function creates a new figure for plotting with the specified size. The figsize parameter sets the width and height of the figure in inches;

  • plt.plot(data): This function plots the data contained in the DataFrame data. It accepts various arguments to customize the plot, such as color, linestyle, marker, etc;

  • plt.xlabel(label): This function sets the label for the x-axis of the plot. The string label specifies the label text;

  • plt.ylabel(label): This function sets the label for the y-axis of the plot. The string label specifies the label text;

  • plt.title(title): This function sets the title of the plot. The string title specifies the title text.
