Presentation Mode & Selective Export
Presentation Mode
-
Presentation Mode: can be accessed via View > Presentation Mode;
- Acts like a slideshow or PDF view, focusing only on the design itself;
- Ideal for presenting without exporting to a separate format (e.g., PDF);
- Exit Presentation Mode by pressing the Escape key.
-
Full Screen Mode: can be accessed via View > Screen Mode > Full Screen Mode;
- Allows editing the design while in full screen, enabling real-time changes;
- Hides distractions such as tools and panels to focus on the design;
- Exit Full Screen Mode by pressing the Escape key.
Selective Export (Exporting Assets)
Exporting a Single Asset
- Right-click the element and select Collect for Export > As Single Asset;
- Use the Asset Export panel to name the asset and adjust export settings (e.g., file format, scale, suffix);
- Export at different scales (e.g., 1x, 2x) by adding suffixes like @2x;
- Click Export to save the asset.
Exporting a Selection
- Right-click the selection and choose Export Selection;
- Opens the Export for Screens window for detailed export options (e.g., format, scale, destination folder);
- Click Cancel to exit or proceed with exporting.
Exporting Multiple Assets
- Select multiple elements, right-click, and choose Collect for Export > As Single Asset or As Multiple Assets;
- Single Asset: Combines all selected elements into one image;
- Multiple Assets: Exports each element individually as separate assets.
- Adjust settings (e.g., scale, format) in the Asset Export panel and click Export to save the files.
Selective Exporting provides flexibility, especially for web and mobile app designs, ensuring that only necessary elements are exported.
