Overview As a member of our Data Platform team, you will build the data infrastructure, products, and services that enable teams across the company to make data\-driven decisions and ultimately deliver high\-quality products to our users.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve analytical infrastructure that enables teams to easily collect, transform, analyze, and understand data.
• Build real\-time data infrastructure to support streaming data processing and provide real\-time visibility into critical business and system metrics.
• Work cross\-functionally to build data products used across the company, including by Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and other teams.
• Design and implement solutions that ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Make informed technical decisions and take end\-to\-end ownership of the services and applications you build.

Requirements

• 1\-3 years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Passion for product quality and building reliable systems that enable teams to move quickly.
• Strong interest in cross\-functional collaboration and solving problems beyond traditional team boundaries.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.

Nice To Have

• Experience with distributed data systems and technologies such as Spark, Presto/Trino, Hive, or similar technologies.

Annual Pay Range At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on\-target earnings (OTE) range for full\-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
