About the Opportunity

The Software Engineer 1 (Full\-Stack) is designed for an early\-career engineer seeking rapid growth in a production environment where software quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance are critical. This role develops and delivers software across both backend and frontend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and React. The position contributes to the organization’s mission by building dependable systems that support compliant blockchain\-based securities trading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy software across the full stack, including bug fixes, feature development, test coverage, and technical debt reduction.

• Use AI\-assisted coding tools responsibly while rigorously validating generated code and recommendations.

• Trace and understand end\-to\-end request flows across custody, clearing, and trading systems.

• Participate in code reviews as both a learner and reviewer.

• Actively participate in Scrum processes, including refinement, sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and UX teams to clarify requirements and reproduce reported issues.

• Investigate and resolve QA and user acceptance testing issues with support from the engineering team.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience using Node.js or React.

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and the ability to critically evaluate their output.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

• Experience with Git workflows, including branching, pull requests, and continuous integration.

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Proactive approach to seeking assistance and collaborating with teammates.

• Authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

• Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive background check.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

• Salary range of $90,000–$120,000 annually , plus stock options.
