Why people choose Codefinity for their career
Kwizera Mugisha
The teaching methodology at Codefinity is excellent, and I particularly appreciate how it has prepared me to handle real-world coding problems. Currently, I am delving into Node.js and eagerly anticipate building full-stack projects that integrate all the knowledge I have gained.
Sherry Barnes-Fox
My first course was 4 hours, I did it in a few days, "nugget-style. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. There is even a hint to help you get the answer, and if you still cannot get the answer, then you can display the answer. I love the learning style that is used, it engages me.
Bill Wagner
I have really liked the browser-based lessons that allow me to code within the lesson. The RUN button allows me to test the code I write before submitting for a grade.
Stephanie Chan
As I went through the first course of the Python track, I liked the way the course was lay out (in easy and digestible modules) with little exercises at the end of each concept.
Daniel Chinea
I have gained a lot of practical and logical thinking skills, along with patience for myself and confidence in myself that I can learn programming.
Steve Bruening
The learning was progressive and made it easy to follow along and make progress. I could feel my skills increasing and building on each other as the course went along.

This course is not exactly what it's being advertised as - statements like "acquire PRACTICAL skills", "MASTER advanced Error Handling", etc. are exaggerated too much. Most of the topics are more of a general overview about specified consepts with only few examples, moreover: too often there are not enough examples. Some topics described too vaguely. Like section about Namespaces - the nature of __init__.py files secribed ones in one vague sentence without example is use of namespaces but later on the same page you have to answer the question like "What is the primary purpose of the __init__.py?" - for a person, who learns his/her first programming language via this course this amount of information would not be enough to understand this consept and answer this question correctly. The next question on the same page is even worse demanding to give an answer about something that wasn't described before. In the "Exception Handling" section the practical task asks you to complete the code with multiple use of "except" statement after a single "try" block to catch different types of errors, but it never teaches you that it is actually possible and allowed - if you never worked with Exceptions in other programming languages you would have to guess what author wants from you (and even after the task this concept is never explained or used in further examples). The course definitely can benefit from revisiting and extending its content with more detailed explanations and examples.
